Resumo
Nesse trabalho, avaliou-se, sob uma abordagem teórico-prática, a aplicação dos géis rígidos de agar-agar e agarose na limpeza de têxteis. Para isso, utilizou-se um tafetá de algodão branco manchado com café e os géis rígidos de agar-agar e agarose preparados em duas proporções (3% e 5%). Após esse tratamento, parte das amostras foi submetida ao envelhecimento artificial acelerado por radiação UV. Com o objetivo de avaliar a eficácia de limpeza dos géis rígidos e suas possíveis variações morfológicas no tecido, foi realizada a comparação desse procedimento com o tratamento convencional de lavagem aquosa com tensoativo. Os resultados obtidos foram satisfatórios, observando-se diferenças entre os tratamentos de limpeza estudados.
